Apple for the Teacher

Materials:

1. 3-inch terra cotta clay pot
2. 3-inch terra cotta clay saucer
3. Small wooden spool
4. Paint
5. Clear acrylic spray
6. Craft foam or felt
7. Craft glue
8. Paint brush
9. Scissors

Directions:

1. Wipe down your terra cotta pot and saucer with a damp cloth and let dry completely.
2. Paint the entire pot and saucer red, let dry.
3. Paint the wooden spool green.
4. Paint a face on your pot.
5. Once all your paint is dry, spray it with the clear acrylic sealer.
6. Flip the saucer upside down and place it as a lid on top of the clay pot apple.
7. Glue the wooden spool on to the saucer to look like a stem.
8. Cut a small leaf shape or two out of craft foam or felt glue it to the side of the wooden spool. Let all of the glue dry.
