Craft Stick Flag

Materials:

1. Craft sticks
2. Red paint
3. White Paint
4. Blue Paint
5. Cardboard
6. Ribbon
7. Tiny white star stickers
8. Glue

Directions:

1. Have the children paint six craft sticks red and five sticks white.
2. Starting with a red craft stick, glue each end of the ribbon between it and the cardboard at left and right top corners.
3. Glue the rest of the craft sticks in place alternating colors on the cardboard.
4. Brush a block of blue in the upper left corner.
5. Invite the children to place sticker stars in this block.
