Handprint Dishcloth

Materials:

1. A solid color dishcloth
2. Fabric Paint
3. Paintbrushes or sponges
4. A covered work area

Directions:

1. Have children paint their hands using a paintbrush or sponge.
2. Make a handprint of one or both hands on the dishcloth.
3. If you have a dark colored dishcloth, then use a light colored paint and vice versa.
4. Use a paintbrush to write the date on the corner of the dishcloth. The child's name can go there too.
5. Follow directions on the paint container for setting the fabric paint.
6. You can also use oven mitts and aprons.
