Moon Crater Prints

Materials:

1. 3-4 small containers of bubbles
2. 3-4 different colors of tempera paint
3. white construction paper (1 piece per child)
4. aprons and/or old play clothes

Directions:

1. Add a small amount of tempera paint to each container of bubbles
2. (Be careful not to add too much paint.)
3. Lay the pieces of construction paper outdoors on a flat surface.
4. Have the children blow bubbles onto the paper.
5. As the bubbles land on the paper and pop, they will leave "moon craters."
6. The children should take turns using the different colors.
7. Let the papers dry.
8. Hang up your "moon prints."
