Pine Cone Reindeer

Materials:

1. Small or medium sized pine cone
2. 4 brown pipe cleaners
3. Google eyes (you could also use small white paper circles)
4. Red or pink pom pom (you could also use a crumpled up piece of construction paper)

Directions:

1. The reindeer's body is the pine cone placed sideways.
2. The smallest end of the pine cone is the face.
3. Wrap the pipe cleaner around the pine cone and twist into legs.
4. Bend the bottom half of the "legs" so that it makes feet.
5. Repeat the process around the back end of the pine cone.
6. To make the antlers wrap your last pipe cleaner around the front of the pine cone.
7. Twist it like a twist tie at the top of the pine cone.
8. Spread the antlers apart like a TV antenna.
9. Fold the ends of the pipe cleaner to make antlers.
10. Twist or glue on additional pieces of pipe cleaner if needed to finish the antlers.
11. Glue on your eyes and nose and your reindeer is complete!
