Chocolate Hummus

Ingredients (homes):
- 1 (15.5 oz.) can Beans (Pinto, Black, or Garbanzo), drained
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Baking Cocoa
- Sweetener (Honey*, Maple Syrup, etc.) to taste (start with 1/4 cup)
- 2 TBSP. or more Water
Ingredients (centers):
- 3 (15.5 oz.) can Beans (Pinto, Black, or Garbanzo), drained
- 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 cup Baking Cocoa
- Sweetener (Honey, Maple Syrup, etc.) to taste (start with 3/4 cup)
- 1/4 cup + 2 TBSP. or more Water
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
- Puree until smooth. Add more water if needed.
- Serve with fresh fruit or whole grain graham crackers or whole grain animal crackers.
Serve:
1 portion = 1/2 oz. meat alt. at snack only
* do not serve Honey to children under the age of 1.
