Crock Pot Mac & Cheese

Ingredients (homes):
- 1 pound enriched macaroni pasta
- 2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
- 4 cups (1 quart) chicken broth
- 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 pound Colby Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon EACH dry mustard, salt, and garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- a dash paprika
Ingredients (centers):
- 4 pounds enriched macaroni pasta
- 1 (97 fl. oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 gallon chicken broth
- 4 pounds sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 pounds Colby Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon EACH dry mustard, salt, and garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon paprika
Directions:
- Coat cooker/roaster with nonstick spray.
- Layer all ingredients in crock pot/slow cooker/ roaster. Stir gently to mix.
- Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. Stir. Cook until pasta is cooked through, about 30 minutes longer for a 5 quart cooker.
Serve:
3/4 cup counts as 2 oz. meat alternate and 1 oz. eq. grain.
