Ingredients (homes):
- 2 cup Garbanzo Beans, cooked/canned
- 2 tsp. Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 1 TBSP. Tahini (sesame seed paste) or other nut or seed butter
- 2 TBSP. Oil, olive
Ingredients (centers):
- 6 cup Garbanzo Beans, cooked/canned
- 2 TBSP. Garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 3 TBSP. Tahini (sesame seed paste) or other nut or seed butter
- 1/4 cup + 2 TBSP. Oil, olive
Directions:
- Puree ingredients until smooth in a food processor or blender.
- Serve with:
- - Pita bread, crackers, tortillas, or tortilla chips, or on sandwiches.
- - Raw vegetables (ex. carrots, celery, bell peppers, cucumbers, and/or olives).
Serve:
1/4 cup = 1 oz. meat alt.
