Ingredients (homes):

  • 2 cup Garbanzo Beans, cooked/canned
  • 2 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 TBSP. Tahini (sesame seed paste) or other nut or seed butter
  • 2 TBSP. Oil, olive

Ingredients (centers):

  • 6 cup Garbanzo Beans, cooked/canned
  • 2 TBSP. Garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 3 TBSP. Tahini (sesame seed paste) or other nut or seed butter
  • 1/4 cup + 2 TBSP. Oil, olive

Directions:

  1. Puree ingredients until smooth in a food processor or blender.
  2. Serve with:
  3. - Pita bread, crackers, tortillas, or tortilla chips, or on sandwiches.
  4. - Raw vegetables (ex. carrots, celery, bell peppers, cucumbers, and/or olives).

Serve:

1/4 cup = 1 oz. meat alt.
