Patriotic Parfait Snack

Ingredients (homes):
- 1 lb. 8 oz. strawberries, frozen, sliced
- 1 lb. 4 oz. blueberries, frozen
- 24 oz. (3 cups) vanilla yogurt, with 23 grams or less total sugars in 6 oz.
- 1 1/2 cups cereal, optional, with 6 grams or less total sugars in 1 dry ounce
Ingredients (centers):
- 2 pounds strawberries, frozen, sliced
- 2 pounds blueberries, frozen
- 3 lb. (6 cups) vanilla yogurt, with 23 grams or less total sugars in 6 oz.
- 3 cups cereal, optional, with 6 grams or less total sugars in 1 dry ounce
Directions:
- Mix berries together.
- Portion yogurt into cups or bowls for each child. For each 1-5 year old, portion 1/4 cup yogurt. For each 6+ year old, portion 1/2 cup yogurt.
- Add a portion of berries on top. For each 1-5 year old, add 1/2 cup berries. For each 6+ year old, add 3/4 cup berries.
- If desired, top with cereal. Add 2 tablespoons for ages 1-5 and 1/4 cup for ages 6+.
Serve:
Ages 1-5: 1/2 cup berries + 1/ 4 cup yogurt (counts as 1/2 oz. eq. meat alternate at snack)
Ages 6+: 3/4 cup berries + 1/2 cup yogurt (counts as 1 oz. eq. meat alternate at snack)
