Ingredients (homes):

  • 12 cup Low-sodium Chicken Broth
  • 2 cup Star Pasta, whole grain
  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 4 1/2 cup Peas and Carrots, frozen

Ingredients (centers):

  • 24 cup Low-sodium Chicken Broth
  • 4 cup Star Pasta, whole grain
  • 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 9 cup Peas and Carrots, frozen

Directions:

  1. Place the broth in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta and salt.
  3. Simmer pasta until tender, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in the peas and carrots and cook until heated through, about 1-2 minutes.

Serve:

1 cup = 1/2 oz. eq. grain , 1/4 cup vegetable
