Ingredients (homes):

  • 4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 tsp. Active Rise Yeast
  • 2 TBSP. Sugar or Honey*
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 cup Warm Water

Ingredients (centers):

  • 12 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 TBSP. Active Rise Yeast
  • 1/4 cup + 2 TBSP. Sugar or Honey*
  • 1 TBSP. Salt
  • 6 cup or 1 1/2 pint Warm Water

Directions:

  1. Stir in all ingredients together. Cover. Let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Pour into a loaf pan coated in nonstick spray.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until browned.
  4. Cool and slice.

Serve:

1 portion = 2 oz. eq. grain servings
*do not serve honey to children under the age of 1.
